Bulletin Board: Crumpin-Fox Women’s League opens season

The Crumpin-Fox Club Women’s League opened its season on Wednesday with a Throw Out 3 Hole contest, with Taylor Berry-Schumacher taking first with a score of 1-over.
Brooke Fernandez and Nancy Robbie took second (plus-3), Camilla Thacher shot the low net (5-under) followed by Deb Deskavich (-3) and Barb Baldwin (-2).
Nancy Donoghue won closest to the pin on No. 3 (8 feet, 6 inches) and Ellen Bitzer won it on No. 9 (35-11).
K of C League
Tim Norwood and Kyle Matterson tied for first with quotas of plus-5 while Joe Richotte, Biran Cocco and Dave Virgilio tied for second (+4) in the Knights of Columbus League at Thomas Memorial Wednesday.
Bob Wondoloski won closest to the pin on No. 7 (10-6) and Todd Currie won on No. 9 (5-11). Darren Lenois and Ron Lenois won skins while Norwood had the low gross (37).
Thomas Women’s League
Karren Sacco shot the low gross (45) while Delia Foster and Cynthia Parker tied for the low net (30) in action at Thomas Memorial.

Greenfield coed league
RG Penfield 16, Liberty Tax Sharks 5 — Damon Blake had four hits and two RBIs, Justin Nash had four hits including a homer and five RBIs while Tyler Leroux tallied three hits and two RBIs in RG Penfield’s victory Wednesday.

Grace Hickey and Eleanor Martin each added four hits in the win.
Garden Cinema 11, Vermont Wildcats 8 — Savannah Thomas struck out six while Tayanna N'dissi ,Samantha Rider, Maisie Miller and Makenna Ward each contributed a hit in Garden Cinema’s win Tuesday.
