Bulletin Board: Jeff Seymour and Andy Helgerson shoot low gross in Timmons-Messer League

Jeff Seymour and Andy Helgerson shot the low gross of 36, followed by Neil Slocomb and Dan Castine (37) in the Timmons-Messer League at Northfield Golf Course Wednesday.

Jim Garanin and Dan Arsenault won a match of cards over Ken Duffy and Dave Prevost for the low net (28). Prevost won closest to the pin on No. 6 (six feet, six inches) and Rob Schrader won on No. 7 (7-3). Seymour was the match medalist with a 37.

Knights of Columbus

David King and Chet Dzernich tied for first with score of plus-7 in the Knights of Columbus League at Thomas Memorial Wednesday.

Mike McCarthy won closest to the pin on No. 7 (2-8) and Joey Niedbala won on No. 9 (9-9). Steve Call won skins while Bob Bourbeau and Kyle Norwood tied for the low gross (40).

Youth baseball

Ruggeri 15, Fitzgerald 10 — Easton Turners had a hit and three RBIs, Roman French had two hits including a triple and drove in five while Bryce Vollinger had four hits and two RBIs in Ruggeri’s win Wednesday.

Jack Merrill had three hits and an RBI, Oliver Avery singled, doubled and drove in three while Jalen Howell doubled in the loss.

Baker Financial 12, Gruber & Tripp Law 3 — Kashton Phillips, Lucas Wallner and Kai Estrada each cracked three hits in Baker’s victory on Wednesday.
