Royalston Music Fest slated for Sunday

Annual Royalston Music Fest

The Royalston Cultural Council is hosting the annual Royalston Music Fest this Sunday, Aug. 11 on the stage at Bullock Park, at the south end of Royalston Common. The family friendly event runs from noon to 4 p.m. is free to the public. In addition to entertainment, the council also will be offering hot dogs and other grilled items as well as soft drinks, chips and other treats for sale. There also will be free lawn games. 2024 Music Fest T-Shirts will be for sale for $20 each. For collectors, T-shirts from previous music fests will be available for $10 each. In the event of rain, the music fest will be held upstairs at Royalston Town Hall. The RCC is sponsored by the Mass Cultural Council.

The schedule for Sunday’s entertainment: Noon – John Currie, folk/rock; 1 p.m. – Evan Foisy & Charlie Mallet, classic rock; 2 p.m. – Tempo-airy Jazz Ensemble, popular and classic jazz; and, 3 p.m. – Blues Katz, blues and rock.

For two decades, Royalston Music Fest has been offering great summertime entertainment featuring North Quabbin talent.
