Orange’s Mitchell Krasco places 38th in triple jump at New Balance Nationals

Orange’s Mitchell Krasco traveled to Franklin Field in Philadelphia to compete in the New Balance Outdoor Track and Field Nationals on Saturday, going against the best high school athletes in the country. 

Krasco competed in the triple jump on Saturday, where he placed 38th with a top leap of 43 feet, 7 inches.

The 2025 Mahar graduate hit 43-7 on his opening jump, did not score on his second jump and hit the same mark of 43-7 on this third and final jump of the day. 

Clifton Spring, New York’s Aiden Bryant was the winner (51-2.25).
