2024 dog licenses available

ATHOL — The 2024 dog licenses for the Town of Athol are available at the Town Clerk’s office. Dog licenses must be renewed by Feb. 29 or a $15 late fee will be charged. The cost of dog licenses are—male/female, $15; neutered/spayed, $8.

Dog licenses may be obtained through the mail, placed in the drop box located in front of Town Hall or in person at the Town Clerk’s office. Please send a check payable to the Town of Athol with the required fee and a self-addressed stamped envelope. Proof of rabies vaccination and neutering/spaying is required for all dogs.

Online payment for dogs is now available for renewals. Visit unipaygold.unibank.com to pay online.

Residents who no longer own a previously licensed dog are asked to notify the Town Clerk to avoid late notices and fees. For further information, contact the Town Clerk’s office at 978-721-8445 or e-mail nburnham@townofathol.org.

Memory training at the Athol Senior Center

SNHU announces fall 2023 Dean’s List

MANCHESTER, New Hampshire — Southern New Hampshire University congratulates the following students on being named to the fall 2023 Dean’s List. The fall terms run from September to December.

Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.500 to 3.699 for the reporting term are named to the Dean’s List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired eight-week terms grouped in fall, winter, spring and summer.
