Bulletin board: Tripp, Gould pitch New Fortune to GMLB victory

Elias Tripp and Liam Gould combined for a one-hitter with 12 strikeouts, helping New Fortune to a 9-2 victory over Smitty’s Pub in a Greenfield Minor League Baseball Majors Division contest Thursday at Lunt Field.
Tripp also went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and three runs scored while Bryce Urkiel, Darick Chaisson and Elijah Lawler all had hits for New Fortune.
Malcoms Tyler had the lone hit for Smitty’s.
Gilmore & Farrell 3, Maniatty 1 – Phil Brodeur and Ben Shivone combined to allow just two hits on the mound, while Shivone smacked two hits and Ben Woodard doubled to power G & F on Thursday.
Maniatty’s Fred Burnap and Toby Campbell had hits, and Jackson Puchalski made two outstanding catches in center field.
Gagne Wealth Management 15, Fitzgerald 5 — Fox Dube doubled, tripled and drove in four, Duncan Cairney pitched and Charlie Schwerin caught in Gagne’s win Wednesday.
Shea Nicholas, Oliver Avery and Calvin Burnap each had a hit for Fitzgerald.

Paige Reipold and Parker Gebo-Lutenegger each tallied two hits and Riley Reipold had three hits for Sandri.

Bob LaCoy and Pete Blake had the low net (26) followed by Lloyd Grover and Don Churchill (28). Trevor Blake won closest to the pin on No. 6 (four feet, nine inches) and Rob Schrader won on No. 7 (12-3). Slocombe was the medalist with a 36.
