The Alexander Findlay Massachusetts Hickory Open took place at the Country Club of Greenfield Friday, with Louis Falcone taking first with a score of 72. Dave Beamer carded the low net (67). 

In Stableford scoring, Peter Bowman was the winner (35) and Jim Gallagher took second (33). In point quota, Frank Flood won a match of cards over Jason Nelson to take first (4).

Liberty Tax Sharks 7, Smitty's Pub 6 — Che Christi, Marcy Conway (two RBI) and Robert Badillo each had two hits while Trevor Thoams homered in the Sharks’ victory Friday. 

Ryan Campbell and Jack Putala each had two hits, Yohenny Pimentel drove in two with a hit and Joe Gamache doubled in three runs for Smitty’s.
