The Greenfield Tennis Association will sponsor a special fundraising morning of community doubles tennis on Saturday. One-hundred percent of the proceeds will go toward the continuing maintenance of the public clay courts of Greenfield.
Men, women, juniors and seniors of all levels are welcome to play in this fun community event. You will enter as a single person; your doubles partner will be selected randomly and will change throughout the morning with each round.
Arrive any time before 9 a.m. at Beacon Field courts for warm-up and registration. Team and court assignments will start at 9:15 and play will start by 9:30. Pre-registration is unnecessary. The tournament will be completed by early afternoon.
If you cannot commit to the full event, that is not a problem. Come join for a couple of rounds if you’d like, and leave when you need to.
Entry fees are $10 for GTA members, $15 for non-members. GTA memberships will be on sale at the time of registration. Questions? Call Larry Klein 413-824-8129. Rain postponement would be announced by 8 a.m. tournament day by e-mail.
