Bulletin Board: Frontier boys, girls tennis qualify for state tournament

The MIAA boys and girls tennis brackets were revealed on Friday, with two Recorder Area teams making the cut.
The Frontier boys tennis team went 11-4 on the season to earn the No. 25 seed in the Div. 4 bracket and will take on eighth-seeded Sutton in the Round of 32 at a date and time to be determined.
The Frontier girls tennis team, which went 14-6 on the season and made it to the Western Mass. Class B championship game, made the Div. 4 field as the No. 21 seed. The Redhawks will be on the road to face No. 12 Lenox in the Round of 32 at a date and time to be determined.
Greenfield Elks
Bob Walker and Bob Wondoloski tied with Frank McDonald and Jeff Neipp for first with 47 points in the Greenfield Elks Golf League Wednesday.
Jonathan Moore and Doug Fontaine tied with Gary Noga and Randy Bernard for second (45) while Kevin Coughlin and Shawn Parker took third (44).
Bill Martin won closest to the pin on No. 2 (nine feet, seven inches) and Jamie Bozek won on No. 5 (4-4).
