ATHOL – With temperatures no warmer than the mid-20s expected over the next few days, arrangements have been made for people who may need a place to stay warm.

A total of eight warming centers have been set up at several locations throughout Athol. These include the following:

■Athol Council on Aging/Senior Center at Lord Pond Plaza

■North Quabbin Chamber of Commerce, adjacent to the senior center

■North Quabbin Community Coalition, 251 Exchange St.

■Valuing our Children, 217 Walnut St.

■Patch Family Center, 109 Lumber St.

■Athol Public Library, 568 Main St.

All locations will be open and available during regular business hours. Some centers may have water and snacks, depending on availability, and all sites will have phone charging available.
