The Athol Lions Club celebrated its 75th year of service at Williams Restaurant in Gardner. There were Lions present with one or two years of experience, many with 10 or 25 years and some with over 50 years. The Athol Lions works with the Lions District 33A, which supports 46 Lions Clubs in the area and over 1,400 Lions. Among the charitable works the Lions do is with the Mass Lions Eye Research Fund, helping those with diabetes, and working with responders to natural disasters or humanitarian crises. Pictured here are current President/King Lion Kimberly Emond and her husband, Lion Derrick Emond.
